ABOUT THE JUBILEE LUNCH CLUB
The aim of the Jubilee Lunch Club is to celebrate the importance of older people living within our communities in Stirling, to enjoy their company and share lunch with them within a safe, warm environment. We would especially like to welcome older people who live on their own. It is also hoped that as the service develops that activities will be introduced, but this will be influenced by the sort of pastimes that the group would enjoy.
The Jubilee Lunch Club provides lunch for older people in the Pillar Hall within the Church from 12pm until 2pm. This is a weekly drop in service which is free, however, a donation of around £4 would be appreciated to help to cover costs, but please donate only what you can afford.
We also welcome family carers and people with early stage dementia who are still living at home to join us for lunch.
However, we would respectfully ask that those who attend the Jubilee Lunch Club can attend to their own personal and toileting needs during their time at the Club.
You do not need to be a member of the Church to come along and enjoy the Jubilee Lunch Club, although spiritual support is available if requested.
Please have a look at our leaflet and if you would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. If you would like to have a printed copy of the leaflet sent to you, or would like some to give to friends or family who may be interested in using the service, or you work within the third sector, social care or health, please send your contact details to Viv Masterton, Lunch Club Co-Ordinator and some leaflets will be sent to you.

Do you have a few hours to spare? The Jubilee Lunch Club are looking for volunteers.
The services that the Church provides, relies upon the support and goodwill of the volunteers who maintain them. We need volunteers who can welcome our guests, help to prepare and serve lunch, clear the tables and provide a listening ear and companionship for those who attend
It would be especially beneficial, but not essential, if you had a relevant and up to date Food Hygiene certificate or First Aid certificate. We would especially welcome those who have a pastoral, social care or health background, either from a paid or voluntary capacity. Please note that due to the potential vulnerable nature of some of our guests, an enhanced Disclosure will be required.
In return for your support, you could gain valuable new skills and you will be reimbursed for all reasonable out of pocket expenses.
