Wellbeing Choir

“Come, sing and feel better.”

The Wellbeing Choir had its second birthday in January 2018.  We meet in the church hall on Tuesdays at 7.30pm.  Our choir leader is Amy Leitch, a professional music teacher.  Amy's position is funded by the Church of Scotland "Go for It Fund".

The bible says, the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control.  Sometimes it can feel that joy is the hardest fruit to express.  The choir aims to express joy.  We want to be stress free and harmonious, a place where everyone is accepted and loved.

The choir has between 20 to 30 singers each evening.  You don't have to be able to read music or even sing!

We sing a variety things: Scottish, popular music, songs from musicals, contemporary Christian songs.

We start promptly at 7.30pm and sing for about 40 minutes, then have a cup of tea and a wee something, then sing for the last 30 minutes.

We ask for a £2.50 donation each night, if you're able to afford it.  We're always looking for more members.  We like to think we're a welcoming group and we'd love to share what we have.

We're planning a few performances this year, so hope you will look out for them and come along.

The Choir meets every Tuesday from 7.30-9pm at Allan Park South Church

£2.50 donation if you can afford it.
